Tips for Sellers

 Sellers, you need to know...

Selecting a Realtor to represent you in selling your home will be your most important decision.  An inexperienced and unknowledgeable Realtor can cost you tens of thousands of dollars.

With so much information available on-line you should be able to research your Realtor candidates before you ever invite them to interview with you. Yes- you want to interview Realtors for the position of selling your home. Each Realtor will come with marketing strategies, ideas of how to best present your home, market data about current property values and current Buyer activity in your area. You then choose the one Realtor who you feel will be able to meet your needs and provide you with the best possible service.

Your Realtor should be:

  •  Knowledgeable about the area in which you are selling
  •  Aware of the complicated State and Local requirements that may affect your transaction
  •  Effective in multi-party, face-to-face negotiations
  •  Highly trained and experienced, with access to programs for continued learning and additional certifications
  • Resourceful in attracting the largest possible pool of Buyers with various Marketing Strategies
  • Able to handle full service property preservation if you are not local and/or the property is vacant.
  • Customer oriented – Your needs must come first
  •  Supported by professional legal counsel
